Last Wednesday saw us host our first fully online sale Antiques & Interiors auction from Wolverhampton Auction Rooms. Despite lacking the buzz of a packed saleroom to comply with social distancing guidelines, the auction attracted a strong interest with a great contingent of bidders registering online via both thesaleroom.com and easyliveauctions.com, and several commission bids lodged in advance.
There were strong performances across a catalogue featuring just shy of 800 lots, with G-plan furniture performing particularly well; signalling the ongoing trend for Mid-Century moden.
