Following the runaway success of Oriental works of art in its latest Fine Art sale, Staffordshire auction house Cuttlestones is hosting a free antiques valuation event in Tittensor, near Stone, with a distinctly Oriental twist. While the Cuttlestones team will be on hand to value all sorts of antiques and collectables between 10am – 12 noon on Saturday, 30th April at Old School Wines, they will be joined by Oriental Art specialist Adrian Simmons, who has appeared regularly on ITV antiques programmes and works alongside Cuttlestones to provide an expert opinion on Oriental works.

MD and Head Auctioneer, Ben Gamble, says:

We’re really looking forward to our next Tittensor valuation day and are delighted that Adrian will be joining us to share his specialist knowledge with those keen to find out what their Oriental pieces are worth. We’ve recently had great success in the sale of what would once have been fairly ordinary pieces of Oriental art – there’s a growing trend for the Chinese to buy back their heritage – and we’d encourage anyone who has a piece or a collection to consider bringing it along for a free valuation, if only to satisfy their curiosity.

The free valuation ‘roadshow’ will take place at Old School Wines, The School House, Stone Road, Tittensor between 10am and 12 noon on Saturday, 30th April 2011. For further details contact [email protected] or call 01785 714905.
