Cuttlestones Auctioneers are taking part in the Katherine House Hospice Accumulator Challenge. We have been given £50 which we are using to accumulate as much money as possible. People have already been generous in adding a donation to their catalogue purchase, buying a 50p coin for £1, and purchasing cakes. Next Wednesday 14th October we will be selling a small number of lots within our Home, Garden & Collectables Sale and all the proceeds from these lots will be added to the challenge total.
Here is what the funding will be going towards:
One hour of nursing care £15, a day care outing for one patient £85, one week of Lymphoedema support £415, at home support for one patient £2,284, 24 hours of in-patient care for 10 patients £3,973, one week of in-patient care for 10 patients £27,811.
