Fundraising treat for fans of wine, whisky and antiques…

Posted on

Those who enjoy the finer things in life will be in for a treat as Cuttlestones Auctioneers & Valuers hosts an evening of wine, whisky and antiques at 7pm on Tuesday, 4th December.

The Penkridge auction house has joined forces with Tittensor’s Old School Wines to host the evening, with proceeds from ticket sales going toward the company’s drive to raise a total of £10,000 for its charity of the year, Katherine House Hospice. The Wine & Whisky Tasting evening will offer the chance to  sample a host of delectable wines and whiskies under the expert guidance of Andrew Wilson and whisky expert Dave Pickard, followed by the opportunity to browse the lots going under the hammer during the Auction House’s Friday 7th December Fine Art Auction.

Auctioneer Dave Eglington says:

We’ve been working hard to raise funds through various sponsored activities and events all year round, and thought with Christmas on the horizon the chance for people to come along and sample wines and whiskies they could then enjoy over the festive season would be very tempting. I’ve attended a number of tastings with Mr Wilson and they’re always hugely entertaining and informative – add the fact that the event is helping to raise funds for a very worthwhile cause which touches so many lives in the local area, and I’m confident we’ll have a great turnout.”

Tickets for the Wine & Whisky tasting evening cost just £10 each – places are limited so ensure you secure yours soon by calling Debbie on 01785 714905, or emailing [email protected]
