Cuttlestones climb the peaks to support Katharine House Hospice

Posted on

3 adventurous colleagues from local auctioneers are attempting to ascend the highest heights in the British Isles to help raise funds for Katharine House Hospice. Taking part in The Three Peaks Challenge is just one of the ways that Cuttlestones Auctioneers of Penkridge and Wolverhampton have put their support on the block for Katharine House Hospice, their chosen charity of the year.

“The Three Peaks Trio visit the Hospice”

The Managing Director of Cuttlestones Ben Gamble, and Wolverhampton Saleroom Manager Thomas Waldron and Office Manager Elizabeth Vjestica are the intrepid trio who have registered to undertake the Three Peaks Challenge on the 19th October 2012.  The trio will climb the three highest peaks in Great Britain – Ben Nevis in Scotland, Mount Snowdon in Wales and Scafell Pike in Cumbria. To add an even greater degree of challenge – they will be attempting to complete all three in under 24 hours.

Cuttlestones Auctioneers have raised over £5000 since January for the Hospice since adopting it as their charity of the year for 2012.

Cuttlestones have chosen to support Katherine House Hospice as we have been hugely impressed by the support the charity offers to local people with life limiting illnesses. It is so important to help maintain such a valuable service, free of charge, to help the sufferers and their families at such a trying time”.
