To cover maternity leave, 12 months from March 2016

Full time Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

Salary negotiable according to experience

Full training given on in-house systems

 

You will be the first point of contact with existing and new clientele and therefore must be well presented with good presentation and communication skills with a 'can do' approach.

Working as part of the office team based both in Penkridge and Wolverhampton, the successful candidate will be required to provide sound comprehensive support to the Senior Management Team, in addition to ensuring that the salerooms run efficiently on a day to day basis. Additionally the Auction Coordinator will possess the ability to work at several different tasks simultaneously but effectively in a fast busy office when under pressure.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A good standard of education and literacy, both verbal and written
  • Flexible attitude towards your work, duties and the team and be able to lend support with a variety of different tasks
  • Good skills on all Microsoft office software: Excel, Word, Outlook. Training on the PACTS auction system will be given
  • Experience within a customer facing role with the ability to resolve customer queries and complaints
  • An interest in antiques and collectables would be an advantage
  • Car driver essential

Example of duties will include, but are not exclusive to:

  • Professionally dealing with clients and enquiries either face to face, by phone or e-mail
  • Providing general administrative support to colleagues & the senior management team
  • Data entry ensuring accuracy
  • Preparation of Auction catalogues
  • Assisting with the set up and smooth running of sales
  • Maintaining website
  • Organising and prioritising own work load to ensure deadlines are met
  • Invoicing
  • Undertaking research
  • Keeping accurate records
  • Banking
  • Ensuring workflow and information is maintained and updated
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining high levels of housekeeping within office
  • Responsible for ordering stationery, printed stationery, tea & coffee etc.
