A taxidermy menagerie and tribal art are just some of the treasures hailing from stately Chillington Hall near Brewood that will go under the hammer at local auction house Cuttlestones’ Winter Antiques Sale next week.
Fielding a catalogue just shy of 300 lots and covering sections including watches, coins & banknotes, antiquarian books, advertising ephemera, comics, maps, radio equipment, sporting memorabilia – and pretty much everything in between – last week’s online only specialist collectors’ sale attracted some 300 registered bidders.
